RESOLUTION NO. 2000-073
REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF PARCEL 29-118-22-41-0149
TO THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR PUBLIC USE
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has provided the City of Plymouth with notice of
nonconservation property which has become tax forfeit as a result of nonpayment of property
taxes and/or special assessments; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Council Tax Forfeit Land Policy, each parcel has been
reviewed by staff, and
WHEREAS, parcel 29-118-22-41-0149 serves a public purpose by providing right-of-way for
Weston Lane.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that is hereby:
1. Approves the classification made by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners of parcel
29-118-22-41-0149 as nonconservation land. A review of public waterfront, wetland, peat, and
timber issues has been cone and no public nuisance conditions were noted on the parcel. The
City Council certifies that it does not know of any wells located on the property; and
2. Requests conveyance to the City of Plymouth for the public use of street right-of-way.
