RESOLUTION 2000-054
APPROVING FREE WALKING PASS PROGRAM
FOR CITY VOLUNTEERS
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge their appreciation of volunteers who work
for the City on an ongoing basis; and
WHEREAS, the suggestion has been made to allow City volunteers to walk free in the Plymouth
Creek Fieldhouse; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended said program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the
Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to implement a volunteer recognition program
whereby people would receive one free walking pass for every 50 hours of volunteer time
donated to the City.
Adopted by the City Council on January 18, 2000.
