RESOLUTION NO. 2000-044
ORDERING PUBLIC HEARING ON THE VACATION OF
PART OF LAWNDALE LANE STREET RIGHT OF WAY
WITHIN CORNERSTONE COMMONS
WHEREAS, pursuant to M.S.A. 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06, Robert Wachholz,
Chief Manager of Tradition Development has petitioned the City Council for the vacation of the
following street right of way:
All that part of LAWNDALE LANE NORTH in the plat of CORNERSTONE
COMMONS ADDITION, according to the plat thereof on file and of record in the
office of the County Recorder in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota, which lies
Easterly and Northeasterly of the following described line:
Commencing at the Southwesterly corner of OUTLOT C in said plat of
CORNERSTONE COMMONS ADDITION; thence North 00 degrees 22 minutes
07 seconds West along the Westerly line of OUTLOT C and Easterly line of
LAWNDALE LANE NORTH for a distance of 25.00 feet; thence continuing
Northerly along the Westerly line of OUTLOT C and Easterly line of
LAWNDALE LANE NORTH along a tangential curve concave to the East
having a radius of 317.43 feet and a central angle of 24 degrees 27 minutes 14
seconds for a distance of 135.48 feet; thence North 24 degrees 05 minutes 07
seconds East along said Westerly line of OUTLOT C and Easterly line of
LAWNDALE LANE NORTH for a distance of 74.47 feet to the actual point of
beginning of the line to be described; thence Northwesterly along a tangential
curve concave to the Southwest having a radius of 88.50 feet and a central angle
of 67 degrees 15 minutes 35 seconds for a distance 103.89 feet; thence
Northwesterly along a compound curve concave to the Southwest having a radius
of 117.59 feet and a central angle of 11 degrees 37 minutes 01 seconds for a
distance of 23.84 feet to a tangential intersection with the Northerly line of said
LAWNDALE LANE NORTH and the Southerly line of Lot 10 of Block 2 of said
CORNERSTONE COMMONS ADDITION and there terminating.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said request and found the same to be in order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That it should, and hereby does, establish the date of
February 15, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth
Boulevard, as the time and place for the public hearing of said petition and directs the
administrative staff to publish notice of said hearing as provided by law.
