RESOLUTION NO. 2000-029
APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1, PAY ESTIMATE NO. 3, AND
REDUCTION IN RETAINAGE
KINGSVIEW LANE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9002
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 has been prepared providing for the following:
Installation of split rail fencing and additional modular block for the retaining
wall on Kingsview Lane.
Additional aggregate base class 5 material to correct poor soils in the roadway
and driveways.
An increased amount of clearing and grubbing of trees on the project to allow
for safer slopes and sight distances.
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 for Kingsview Lane Improvement Project, City Project No.
9002, is recommended for approval;
WHEREAS, Request for Payment No. 3 dated December 29, 1999 for Buffalo Bituminous,
Inc. has been prepared by the City Engineer and payment is recommended; and
WHEREAS, the payment requires City Council approval since it is recommended that the
retainage be reduced to 2% for City Project No. 9002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That Change Order No. 1 for Kingsview Lane
Improvement Project, City Project No. 9002, by adding $11,840.00 is approved:

FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that the Finance Department is authorized to make payment
on Request for Payment No. 3 in the amount of $6,419.17 to Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. for City
Project No. 9002.
FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED that Payment No. 3 and future payments for additional work
completed are authorized with a retainage of 2%.
Adopted by the City Council on January 4, 2000.
