RESOLUTION NO. 2011-282
AWARD OF BIDS FOR THE PLYMOUTH SKATE PARK
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the receipt of bids for the
replacement and relocation of Plymouth Skate Park; and
WHEREAS, specifications were prepared and distributed and bid
proposals were received and opened for reconstruction of Plymouth Skate
Park and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received and opened on Tuesday,
August 23, for the Plymouth Skate Park; and

WHEREAS, the apparent responsible low bidder is W. Gohman
Constriction Company in the amount of $167,453; and
WHEREAS, the city's consultant and staff are recommending approval
of said bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the
base bid for the replacement to the Plymouth Skate Park in the amount
$167,453, and alternates 2 & 4 with a change order to reduce the total project
cost to be no more than $190,465 by W. Gohman Constriction Company -is
hereby accepted; and fi rther, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized
to sign contracts to enter into an agreement with W. Gohman Constriction
Company and fi rther, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized
to proceed with the constriction of the Plymouth Skate Park.
