RESOLUTION No. 2011-261
AWARDING BID FOR THE PLYMOUTH DOG PARK
PARKING LOT AND WATER IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on Friday, July 29, for the Plymouth Dog Park
Parking Lot Improvements; and
WHEREAS, five bids were received; and
WHEREAS, the apparent responsible low bidder is Northwest Asphalt Inc. in the amount of
$152,101.45; and
WHEREAS, the city's consultant and staff are recommending approval of said bid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid for the
improvements to the Plymouth Dog Park Parking Lot in the amount $152,101,45 by
Northwest Asphalt Inc. is hereby accepted; and further, that the Mayor and City Manager
are authorized to sign contracts to enter into an agreement with Northwest Asphalt Inc.
and fiirther, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is authorized to proceed with the
constriction of the Plymouth Dog Park parking lot and water improvements and further,
that the project cost will be charged to the Park Dedication Fund.
APPROVED THIS 9TH DAY OF AUGUST 2011.
