RESOLUTION No. 2011-184
APPROVE CLOSURE OF FUNDS
WHEREAS, the city council has reviewed the unaudited financial report for
2010 and staff recommends closing the Design Engineering Fund as fiends have
been merged into the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, the city issued refunding bonds and new bond fiends were
created as mandated by the bond documents. Original bond funds were merged
into these new fiends. Staff recommends the 1998A and 1998B debt service fiends
be closed; and
WHEREAS, all transactions have been completed to consolidate fiends; and
WHEREAS, the city council must approve closure of any funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the finance manager is
authorized to close Design Engineering Fund, 1998A fiind, and 1998B fiind as of
December 31, 2010.
Adopted by the city council on May 24, 2011.
