RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE
EVEREST Fk PARKDALE DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT

WHEREAS, the engineers estimate was below $100,000, therefore, the Everest and Parkdale
Drainage Improvement project did not require to be bid competitively and was sent to three contractors
for quotes; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to contract document, the bids were received, opened and tabulated with
the following bids complying with the contract documents:

WHEREAS, it appears that New Look Contracting out of Rogers, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder, complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to New Look Contracting out of
Rogers MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with New Look Contracting out of Rogers, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for
the Everest and Parkdale Drainage Improvements according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $100,075.00.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from the Water
Resources Fund in the amount of $105,078.75.
