RESOLUTION 2011-125
A RESOLUTION APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR THE REZONING OF
LAND LOCATED AT 9805 AND 9855 HIGHWAY 55 (2010086)
WHEREAS, Quest Development, Inc., has requested reclassification of the zoning map
from RMF -4 to PUD for the 4.34 -acre site located at 9805 and 9855 Highway 55, legally
described as follows:
Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Homestead Village Incorporated, according to the recorded plat
thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an ordinance rezoning the affected parcel from
RMF -4 to PUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the request
for reclassification of the zoning from RMF -4 to PUD for the 4.34 -acre site located at 9805 and
9855 Highway 55, based on the following findings:
1. The PUD zoning and proposed density would be consistent with the proposed LA -5
guiding.
2. The proposed development would be consistent with the city's comprehensive plan and
the intent of the RMF -5 zoning district.
3. Adequate infrastructure is available to support the proposed development.
