RESOLUTION 2011-122
APPROVING FINDINGS OF FACT FOR A ZONING ORDINANCE TEXT AMENDMENT
ADDING THE RMF -5 ZONING DISTRICT AND RELATED AMENDMENTS (2010088)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth initiated an amendment adding a new zoning
district and related amendments; and
WHEREAS, the amendment would be consistent with and implement the LA -5
land use classification; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendment
at a duly called public hearing and recommends approval;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve
the zoning ordinance text amendment, based upon the finding that the proposed
amendments would be consistent with state law and the city's comprehensive plan, and
compatible with other provisions of the city's zoning ordinance.
ADOPTED by the Plymouth City Council on April 12, 2011.
