RESOLUTION No. 2011-121
A RESOLUTION APPROVING A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT
TO ADD THE LA -5 (LIVING AREA 5) LAND USE CLASSIFICATION (2010088)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has initiated a comprehensive plan amendment to add
an additional land use classification to be called LA -5 (living area 5) in Appendix Chapter 3C
(LAND USE CLASSIFICATIONS) and;
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public
hearing and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
following amendment to the Comprehensive Plan: A new land use classification called the LA -
5 (living area 5) added to Appendix Chapter 3C (LAND USE CLASSIFICATIONS) that would
offer another redevelopment opportunity to constrict landmark buildings in high -visibility and
high -traffic areas.
FURTHER, approval of the comprehensive plan amendment is contingent upon, and
subject to, the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
