RESOLUTION No. 2011-107
A RESOLUTION TO ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
LANCASTER LANE
MILL AND OVERLAY AND WATERMAIN REPLACEMENT PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 11010
WHEREAS, the capital Improvements Program (CIP) made recommendations for the
Lancaster Lane Reconstruction Project; and
WHEREAS, it is now recommended to Mill and Overlay and not totally reconstruct Lancaster
Lane; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Lancaster Lane from 36th Avenue to Rockford Road
and to assess the benefited properties for a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and is instructed to
report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as
to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to whether it
should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated
cost of the improvement as recommended.
