HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2011-085CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION No. 2011-085 A RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT SOUTH SHORE DRIVE REHABILITATION PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 10002 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the City Council on March 22, 2011, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of improving South Shore Drive from 10th Avenue to the cul-de-sac, and 131H Avenue from South Shore Drive to Nathan Lane by a full depth mill and overlay of streets and installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, watermain, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 12th day of April, 2011 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks prior to the hearing. Approved this 22nd day of March, 2011.
