RESOLUTION No. 2011-046
APPROVING GRANT FOR NORTHWEST GREENWAY BRIDGE OVER VICKSBURG LANE
WHEREAS, the Comprehensive Plan for the Northwest Greenway calls for a trail separated
bridge over Vicksburg Lane; and
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council is accepting applications for Transportation Enhancement
Grants effective May 13, 2011, and;
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation is recommending that the City submit an
application,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Parks and Recreation, in cooperation with
SRF Consulting Group, prepare and submit an application for a bridge grant for the year 2015 and
beyond, and, fiirther, that fiinding for the cost of the grant application will be taken from Park
Dedication fiinds.
