RESOLUTION No. 2011-024
A RESOLUTION TO ORDER PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT
2011 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECT
PEONY LANE, T.H. 55 TO 51 ST AVENUE
CITY PROJECT NO. 11007
WHEREAS, the capital Improvements Program (CIP) made recommendations for the 2011
Mill and Overlay Project; and
WHEREAS, it is recommended that the segment of Peony Lane from Schmidt Lake Road to
51st Avenue also be included in the 2011 program; and
WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Peony Lane from T.H. 55 to 51" Avenue and to
assess the benefited properties for a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
That the proposed improvement be referred to the City Engineer for study and is instructed to
report to the City Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way
as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible and as to
whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and
the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
