HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1999-523CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 99-523 APPROVING INCREASE IN EMPLOYEE FITNESS PROGRAM WHEREAS, the Employee Fitness Incentive Program has proven to be a successful program for City employees; and WHEREAS, the costs have increased substantially for employees to maintain their memberships and participation requirements; and WHEREAS, the Wellness Committee is recommending increasing the City's monthly contribution from $15 per month to $17 per month; and WHEREAS, the Wellness Committee is also recommending that the City pay 50% of the cost of employees walking at the Plymouth Creek Field House. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the City Council authorizes paying $17 per month for employee health club reimbursements effective January 1, 2000, and 50% of the cost of employees walking at the Plymouth Creek Field House effective immediately. The cost will be paid from the Employee Fitness Account. Adopted by the City Council on December 21, 1999.
