RESOLUTION NO. 99-521
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE PERSONNEL POLICY
WHEREAS, City staff periodically reviews Personnel Policy and recommends changes
to update the policy and better align it with the needs of employees and the external
employment market; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended that an additional leave accrual be
provided to regular City employees not represented by the bargaining unit; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has further recommended that the time for eligibility for
disability leave be reduced; and
WHEREAS, other minor clerical changes are required;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Plymouth, Minnesota, that it should and hereby does approve amendments to the
Personnel Policy in Article 3, Sections 4, 11, 13 and 17 thereof, providing for the
changes reflected in the attached revised Article 3, Sections 4, 11, 13 and 17.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above amendment will be effective on
December 21, 1999.
Adopted by the City Council on December 21, 1999.
