RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 512
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
PART OF A DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT WITHIN
LOT 25, BLOCK 3
CORNERSTONE COMMONS ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of a drainage and utility easement within
Cornerstone Commons Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 7, 1999 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of December 7, 1999; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 7, 1999 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of part of a drainage and utility easement in Cornerstone
Commons Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following part of the drainage and utility easement be vacated:
The west 1.83 feet of the east 12.00 feet of Lot 25, Block 3, Cornerstone Commons
Addition, according to the recorded plat thereof, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
