RESOLUTION NO. 99 - 511
AUTHORIZING THE VACATION OF
PART OF THE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHIN
LOTS 1 AND 2, BLOCK 1, AND LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 1
FRENCHIE LA POINTE ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was received to vacate part of the drainage and utility easements within
Frenchie LaPointe Addition; and
WHEREAS, said petition was signed by a majority of the owners of the land abutting the area
proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing with respect to said vacation was scheduled for December 7, 1999 in
accordance with Minnesota Statutes 412.851 and the City Charter Section 12.06; and
WHEREAS, a notice of publication of said hearing was published and posted two weeks prior to the
meeting of December 7, 1999; and
WHEREAS, all property owners adjacent to the proposed vacation were duly notified by mail; and
WHEREAS, the Council did hold a public hearing on December 7, 1999 to inform any and all
interested parties relevant to the vacation of part of the drainage and utility easements within Frenchie
LaPointe Addition; and
WHEREAS, it was determined by the City Council that said easements were not needed for public
purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the following drainage and utility easements be vacated:

Those drainage and utility easements granted to the city of Plymouth in the plat of
Frenchie La Pointe Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota which adjoin the common
lot line of Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, except the west 6 and the east 10 feet, of said Frenchie
La Pointe Addition.
Also
Those drainage and utility easements granted to the City of Plymouth in the plat of
Frenchie La Pointe Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota which adjoin the common
lot line of Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, except the west 6 and the east 10 feet, of said Frenchie
La Pointe Addition.
Adopted by the City Council on December 7, 1999.
