RESOLUTION 99-473
APPROVING SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT ON
PREVAILING WAGE REQUIREMENTS ON THE
PLYMOUTH ICE CENTER
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office has negotiated a settlement regarding the Shawn Lang
litigation on the Plymouth Ice Center project, and
WHEREAS, funding has been set aside in the project budget for payment of this prevailing wage
issue, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office and the Director of Parks and Recreation have
recommended approval of the attached settlement agreement,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PLYMOUTH CITY COUNCIL that the
Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign said settlement agreement, and further, that the
Finance Director is authorized to make payment in the amount of $73,600 regarding this matter
from the Plymouth Ice Center construction fund.
Adopted by the City Council on November 2, 1999.
