RESOLUTION NO. 99-440
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATION
OF AUTOMATIC DEFIBRILLATOR
FROM SCIMED
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Fire Department is often the first to arrive at some emergency calls;
and
WHEREAS, often these emergency calls involve victim or cardiac arrest; and
WHEREAS, Scimed Life Systems has indicated they would like to donate an automatic
defibrillator unit the Crime and Fire Prevention Fund for use by the Fire Department personnel in
an effort to equip these personnel with the life-saving technology; and
WHEREAS, this donation supports the special initiatives and goals of the Crime and Fire
Prevention fund to enhance the vitality of the community through research, development and
support of special initiatives.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing acceptance of this donation.
