RESOLUTION NO. 99-423
RECEIVING PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING REPORT AND
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
CITY CENTER AREA STREET LIGHTING
CITY PROJECT NO. 9020
WHEREAS, installation and maintenance of a street lighting system in the City Center
Area; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the construction of street lighting on
Plymouth Boulevard, 371h Avenue and 341h Avenue, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report is being received by the Council on October 5, 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated street lighting project area for all or a portion of
the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 429.011 to
429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at an estimated total
cost of the improvement of $322,818 for construction and $8,204 for
annual operation and maintenance.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
2nd day of November, 1999 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth
City Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 8:00 p.m., and the Clerk
shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvements as required by law.
