RESOLUTION 99-416
REQUESTING CONVEYANCE OF PARCEL 10-118-22-42-0007
TO THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH FOR PUBLIC USE
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has provided the City of Plymouth with a list of nonconservation
properties which have become tax forfeit as a result of nonpayment of property taxes and/or
special assessments; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Council Tax Forfeit Land policy, each parcel has been
reviewed by staff, and
WHEREAS, parcel 10-118-22-42-0007 serves a public purpose by providing right-of-way for
West Medicine Lake Drive.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth,
Minnesota, that is hereby:
1. Approves the classification made by the Hennepin County Board of Commissioners of parcel
10-118-22-42-0007 as nonconservation land. A review of public waterfront, wetland, peat, and
timber issues has been done and no public nuisance conditions were noted on the parcel. The
City Council certifies that it does not know of any wells located on the property;
2. Requests conveyance to the City of Plymouth for the public use of street right-of-way; and
3. Verifies the amount of special assessments before forfeiture of $178.47.
