RESOLUTION NO. 99-411
APPROVING THE ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY AT
14105 COUNTY ROAD 47 FOR PARK PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City's comprehensive park plan has indicated the City's desire to acquire the
property at 14105 County Road 47; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the property has requested that the City purchase his property at this
time; and
WHEREAS, the City has had the property appraised for $117,000; and
WHEREAS, the owner has agreed to sell the property for the appraised value of $117,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Plymouth City Council that the
City Attorney is authorized to prepare a contract for deed for the purchase of the property at
14105 County Road 47 for the price of $177,000, with half the cost to be paid at the time of
signing of the contract, and the remaining half to be paid at the time the property is turned over
to the City, which will be no later than September 15, 2001, and the property taxes shall be
prorated at the time of final closing, and authorize the Mayor and City Manager to execute it.
