RESOLUTION NO. 99-379
REQUESTING MNDOT TO
CONDUCT SPEED ZONING STUDY
ZACHARY LANE FROM 36TH AVENUE TO BASS LAKE ROAD
WHEREAS, the current speed limit on Zachary Lane was established by MnDOT in
1985; and
WHEREAS, considerable development has occurred adjacent to the roadway since that
time; and
WHEREAS, the City has recently completed an improvement project changing the nature
of the roadway from a rural two lane section to an urban curb and gutter, curvilinear
street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City request the Minnesota
Department of Transportation to undertake an traffic engineering study to determine the
safe and reasonable speed on the following road:
• Zachary Lane from 36th Avenue to Bass Lake Road (County Road 10)
