HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1999-374CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 99-374 RESOLUTION FOR HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT 1998 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT — PHASE II — PART A CITY PROJECT NO. 8001 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on September 7, 1999, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the total cost of the improvement of certain streets in Maintenance District 71 as follows: • 7th Avenue Cul-de-sac — west of Harbor Lane • Harbor Lane — 7th Avenue to 10th Avenue • 10th Avenue — Harbor Lane to Ithaca Lane • Ithaca Lane Cul-de-sac — south of 10th Avenue by the reconstruction of bituminous streets with concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all necessary appurtenances; and WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. A hearing shall be held on the 5th day of October 1999 in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll. Adopted by the City Council on September 7, 1999.
