RESOLUTION NO. 99-360
AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND SECURING OF BIDS FOR A DESICCANT
DEHUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM FOR THE PLYMOUTH ICE CENTER
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation and the Ice Center Manager have presented a
report outlining the dehumidification issues at the Plymouth Ice Center; and
WHEREAS, both the Ice Center Manager and the Director of Parks and Recreation are in
agreement than upgrade to a Desiccant dehumidification system would benefit the long term
operation viability of the Plymouth Ice Center;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Park and Recreation is authorized to hire a
consulting engineer to prepare plans and specifications and secure bids to upgrade the Ice Center
dehumidification system.
Adopted by the City Council on September 7, 1999.
