RESOLUTION No. 2015-250
RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE 2016 PEDESTRIAN
RAMP AND CONCRETE REPLACEMENT PROJECT FOR STEEPLECHASE AREA ( 16004)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2016 Pedestrian Ramp and Concrete
Replacement Project, Steeplechase Area, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State
law;

WHEREAS, the bid received from Ti -Zack Concrete, Inc. contained a mathematical error that
changed their bid from $182,440.00 to $186,940.00; and
WHEREAS, New Look Contracting, Inc., Rogers Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder in the
amount of $184,400 and complies with the minimum qualifications; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the appropriate City Officials are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the
contract for the bid with New Look Contracting, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 2016
Pedestrian Ramp and Concrete Replacement Project, Steeplechase Area in the amount of $184,400.
FURTHERMORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that the project would be funded from the Street
Reconstruction fund in the amount of $193,620.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 25th day of August, 2015.
