HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1999-288CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 99-288 APPROVING REAL ESTATE PURCHASE AGREEMENT LAURENT LAND DEVELOPMENT SILVERTHORNE 4TH ADDITION (97133) WHEREAS, after Schmidt Lake Road was platted and dedicated in the area of Silverthorne Addition, the City adopted a revised alignment; and WHEREAS, Laurent Land Development, as part of the platting process of Silverthorne 4th Addition, has agreed to dedicate the additional necessary right-of-way for relocated Schmidt Lake Road; and WHEREAS, dedication of the right-of-way will reduce the number of single family residential lots that can be platted; and WHEREAS, the City owns property adjacent to Silverthorne 4th Addition which can be included with the plat in order that there will not be a reduction in the number of lots. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the Real Estate Purchase Agreement with Laurent Land Development, Inc. providing for the exchange of land as indicated in the approved preliminary plat for Silverthorne 4th Addition.
