APPROVAL OF TRANSIT BUDGET CARRYOVER FUNDS FOR
THREE TRANSIT RELATED IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
IDENTIFIED AS
CITY PROJECT NO. 8006
CITY PROJECT NO. 8036
CITY PROJECT NO. 8035
WHEREAS, the City applied for and received Regional Transit Capital (RTC) Funds to
improve and construct two park and ride sites and ten neighborhood bus stop facilities at
various locations in the city of Plymouth; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the City Manager and City Clerk to enter into
respective agreements for these facilities; and
WHEREAS, the application for RTC Funds required contributing funds from the City of
Plymouth to complete each project; and
WHEREAS, the City's Transit Administrator has determined that an expenditure of
$201,252 in Budget Carryover Funds is necessary to complete the previously approved
projects in entirety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City's Transit Administrator is hereby
authorized and directed to apply to the Metropolitan Council for Transit Budget Carryover
Funds in the amount of $201,252 to complete the three projects as planned with the Budget
Carryover Funds being a portion in the following manner:
City Project No. 8006 — Messiah United Methodist park and ride lot - $33,975
City Project No. 8036 — Plymouth Covenant Church park and ride lot - $26,897
City Project No. 8035 — Neighborhood stops - $140,380
