RESOLUTION NO. 99-285
REQUESTING HENNEPIN COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION TO CONDUCT A SPEED ZONING STUDY
COUNTY ROAD 101 FROM
14TH AVENUE TO TRUNK HIGHWAY 12
WHEREAS, traffic levels have increased on County Road 101 since the last study was
completed by MnDOT in September 1993; and
WHEREAS, adjacent residential development along County Road 101 from 14th Avenue to
Trunk Highway 12 have expressed concern with the difficulty of accessing County Road 101
due to the speed and volume of traffic.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the City request the Hennepin County
Department of Transportation to make a request to the Commissioner of the Minnesota
Department of Transportation to undertake an Engineering Study to determine the safe and
reasonable speed on the following roads:
County Road 101 from 14th Avenue to Trunk Highway 12
