RESOLUTION NO. 99-271
AWARD CONTRACT
KINGSVIEW LANE STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9002
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Kingsview Lane Street Construction
Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:

Buffalo $165,277.00
Bituminous, Inc.
Hardrives, Inc. $167,664.50
Northwest Asphalt $174,974.32
Midwest Asphalt $179,757.60
WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, MN is the lowest responsible
bidder for the Kingsview Bid; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that awarding the project to Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. is in the
best interests of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the contract
with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the
Kingsview Lane Street Construction Project, City Project No. 9002 according to the plans
and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City
Engineer in the amount of $165,277.00.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest
bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
