HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1999-264CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 99-264 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A CONSTRUCTION AND MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE NATHAN LANE GRADE CROSSING WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company intends to install a new concrete grade crossing at Nathan Lane south of 13th Avenue; and WHEREAS, the Union Pacific Railroad Company is requesting that the City participate in the cost of the new concrete grade crossing improvement. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: That the Mayor is authorized to execute the Construction and Maintenance Agreement covering the installation of a concrete grade crossing at the Nathan Lane railroad crossing of the Union Pacific Railroad Company at a cost to the City not to exceed $13,211. FURTHER, that funding for this improvement be allocated from the Street Infrastructure Replacement Fund. Adopted by the City Council on June 1, 1999.
