RESOLUTION NO. 99-258
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER,
FINANCE DIRECTOR, AND PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR
TO ENTER INTO A GRANT AGREEMENT THROUGH THE
MINNESOTA AUTO THEFT PREVENTION BOARD
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board has made moneys available
through a grant process to target the issue of auto thefts; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department has developed and proposed a program of
community education and proactive decoy operations to deal with this issue in the amount of
$25,550; and
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Auto Theft Prevention Program grant proposal was reviewed
and approved by the Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board at its April 8th, 1999 meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, the City Council adopt the resolution authorizing the City Manager,
Finance Director, and Public Safety Director to enter into a grant agreement through the
Minnesota Auto Theft Prevention Board.
