RESOLUTION NO. 99-257
REJECTING BIDS FOR CLEANING SERVICES FOR CITY BUILDINGS AND
APPROVING A 3% INCREASE FOR HAUGEN BUILDING MAINTENANCE INC.
ON A MONTH TO MONTH BASIS
WHEREAS, bids have been advertised for and received from four vendors, and
WHEREAS, acceptance of the lowest bid is not considered to be in the best interest of the City,
and
WHEREAS, the Property Management Coordinator is reviewing other methods of providing
cleaning services for the City Buildings, and
WHEREAS, Haugen Building Maintenance Inc. has agreed to continue with the current level of
cleaning services with a 3% increase to the current contract on a month to month basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Finance Director is hereby authorized to
reject all bids submitted for cleaning services of City buildings, and continue the current contract
with Haugen Building Maintenance Inc. on a month to month basis with a 3% increase.
