RESOLUTION 99-216
AWARDING BID FOR ASTROPLAY ARTIFICIAL TURF
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on Tuesday, April 27, 1999, for the provision of artificial
turf for the Plymouth Creek Center; and
WHEREAS, the responsible low bid was submitted by Southwest Recreational Industries, Inc.
(Astroturf) in the amount of $444,000,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the bid for the installation of Astroplay is awarded to
Southwest Recreational Industries, Inc. (Astroturf) in the amount of $444,000, and further, that
the bid from Adolfson and Peterson is approved to be withdrawn because of a mathmatical error,
and further, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the contracts.
Approved by the City Council this fourth day of May, 1999.
