RESOLUTION NO. 99-212
APPROVING USE OF COMMUNITY IMPROVEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the voters approved construction of a recreational facility in 1998, and
WHEREAS, City staff has presented funding mechanism which calls for the expenditures
of $1,688,500 from the Community Improvement Fund, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted a public hearing in accordance with the City
Charter with regards to the use of Community Improvement Funds, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has found that the use of Community Improvement Funds
for the construction of the Plymouth Creek Center meets all the criteria of the City
Charter and City Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH that funding for the Plymouth Creek Center will include
$1,688,500 of Community Improvement Fund dollars.
Adopted by the City Council on May 4, 1999.
