HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1999-211CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 99-211 APPROVING TRANSFER OF LUCE LINE TRAIL TO HENNEPIN PARKS WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth owns one mile of the Luce Line trail between I- 494 and Vicksburg Lane, and WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation has recommended that this one mile of trail be transferred to Hennepin Parks ownership, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said recommendation and finds it in the best interest of the City of Plymouth, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH that the City Attorney is authorized to prepare the necessary documents for the transfer of the City owned Luce Line trail to Suburban Hennepin Regional Parks and further, that the City will retain all rights for existing and future utilities in the Luce Line corridor, and that the Park District will not unduly withhold future City trail interconnections as may be deemed appropriate by the City, and that the Park District will not use this property for anything but a public trail without City approval, and further, the Council has determined that the proposed disposal of real property has no relationship to the comprehensive municipal plan.
