RESOLUTION NO. 99-209
APPROVING PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted a 1999 Park Capital Improvements
Program, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission has recommended all projects
contained within the Capital Improvement Program, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation is recommending that these projects be
authorized to proceed at this time, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the recommendation of the Director of Parks
and Recreation and the Park and Recreation Advisory Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Director of Parks and Recreation is
authorized to proceed with the implementation of the following projects: Elm Creek
Playfield building; Oak School Playground donation; youth sports field upgrade; Art in the
Park; Shiloh Park swings; Zachary Playfield lighting; replacement of benches, bleachers,
trash containers; and the Vicksburg 22"d Avenue Mini—Park Phase I; and further, that
funding for these projects shall be appropriated as necessary as outlined in the adopted
1999 Capital Improvements Program.
Adopted by the City Council on May 4, 1999.
