HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1999-206CITY OF PLYMOUTH RESOLUTION NO. 99-206 RESOLUTION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT KINGSVIEW LANE CONSTRUCTION PROJECT CITY PROJECT NO. 9002 WHEREAS, bids have been received for the improvement of Kingsview Lane from Gleason Lake Road to Niagara Lane by the construction of the street including the installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and all necessary appurtenances, and the estimated final contract price for such improvement is $165,277 and the expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to be $42,655 so the total estimated cost of the improvement is $207,932 and of this cost the City of Plymouth will pay $43,757 and the City of Minnetonka will pay $45,980 as its share of the cost; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $118,195. 2. The City Clerk, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be special assessed from such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by the law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the office for public inspection. 3. The Clerk shall upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the City Council thereof. Adopted by the City Council on May 4, 1999.
