APPROVING EXECUTION OF A NEW HENNEPIN HOUSING CONSORTIUM JOINT
COOPERATION AGREEMENT WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY AND THE CITY OF
BLOOMINGTON
WHEREAS, the responsibility for the management of the City of Plymouth's CDBG Program has been
delegated to the Plymouth HRA; and
WHEREAS, certain benefits accrue to the City and the HRA in the management of the CDBG and other
HUD programs by the City's membership in the Hennepin Housing Consortium; and
WHEREAS, continued membership in the Consortium requires that the City Council approve execution of a
new Consortium Joint Agreement effective October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2002;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA; that the Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a new Hennepin Housing Consortium Joint Agreement with Hennepin County and the City of
Bloomington, Minnesota effective October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2002, as required by regulations of
the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, essentially in the form of the draft placed on file
with the City Clerk, with any necessary and appropriate modifications as the Mayor and City Manager shall
determine to be consistent with the intent of the draft agreement and this resolution, the execution thereof by
the Mayor and City Manager shall be conclusive evidence of such determination.
