RESOLUTION NO. 99-176
RESOLUTION IMPOSING CIVIL PENALTY
AGAINST D & D OF MINNESOTA, INC.
d/b/a FAMOUS DAVE'S BBQ SHACK
FOR A LIQUOR LICENSE VIOLATION
WHEREAS, the Plymouth Police Department routinely conducts compliance checks on
licensed liquor establishments within the City; and
WHEREAS, during one of these checks conducted on November 21, 1998, an individual
employed at Famous Dave's BBQ Shack, 11308 State Highway 55, sold an alcoholic
beverage to an underage person; and
WHEREAS, that individual was 15 years of age and could not legally sell or deliver
alcohol; and
WHEREAS, Minnesota State Statute and Plymouth City Code allow for administrative
civil penalties against the license holders for such violations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, the City Council imposes a civil penalty against D & D of Minnesota, Inc.,
d/b/a Famous Dave's BBQ Shack suspending their license for sixty (60) days to be
scheduled by the Police Chief, and an administrative fine of two thousand and No/100
Dollars ($2,000.00).
Adopted by the City Council on April 6, 1999.
