RESOLUTION NO. 99-172
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
1999 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9001
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 99-134 of the City Council adopted the 16th day of March,
1999, fixed a date for a public hearing with respect to the improvements to certain streets
in Maintenance District 66 as follows:

• Forestview Lane — Ridgemount Ave. to Sunset Trail
• 3rd Ave. — Forestview Lane to Deerwood Lane
• Deerwood Lane — Ridgemount Ave. to Sunset Trail
• Balsam Lane — Ridgemount Ave. to Sunset Trail
As shown on the 1998 Pavement Management Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project includes the reconstruction of streets by the installation
of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, trunk and local storm sewer and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, ten days published notice of the hearing through two weekly publications of
the required notice was given and the hearing was held thereon the 6th day of
April, 1999, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be
heard thereon; and
WHEREAS, ordering this improvement requires a 4/5 vote of the Council (six votes)
since the project has not been petitioned for by the benefiting owners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution
adopted March 16, 1999.

2. The Plymouth Engineering Department is designated as engineer for the
improvement. They shall prepare plans and specifications for the making
of such improvement.
