RESOLUTION NO. 99-169
APPROVAL OF WOOD FIBER SYSTEM FOR PLAYGROUNDS
WHEREAS, the City Council has authorized the receipt of bids for the purchase and
installation of a wood fiber surfacing system for the (3) neighborhood park playground
replacements; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with State Statute bid specifications, were prepared and
distributed, and bid proposals were received and opened on March 10th for the purchase
and installation of a wood fiber surfacing system for the (3) neighborhood park
playground replacements; and
WHEREAS, the following bids were received:
BIDDER PURCHASE PRICE
MINNESOTA PLAYGROUND, INC. $27,765.15
ST. CROIX RECREATION $30,000.00
EARL F. ANDERSON, INC. $36,032.70
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, that the bid from Minnesota Playground, Inc. is declared the lowest
responsible bidder for the purchase and installation of a wood fiber surfacing system for
the (3) neighborhood park playground replacements and accepts the bid in the amount of
$27,765.15 for the systems.
FURTHER, that funding is from Fund 401.
Adopted by the City Council on April 6, 1999.
