RESOLUTION NO. 99-134
CALLING FOR HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
1999 STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
CITY PROJECT NO. 9001
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution of the Council adopted December 16, 1998 a report
has been prepared with respect to certain streets in Maintenance District 66 based upon
the 1998 Pavement Management Update; and
WHEREAS, the proposed improvement includes the reconstruction of streets by the
installation of bituminous pavement, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, and all
necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, said report was received by the Council on March 16, 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of such area in accordance
with the report and the assessment of abutting and adjacent property
within the designated 1999 Street Reconstruction Project area for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes 429.011 to 429.111 (Laws 1953, Chapter 398, as amended) at
an estimated total cost of the improvement of $1,623,715.
2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
6th day of April, 1999 in the Council Chambers of the Plymouth City
Center at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard at 7:00 p.m., and the Clerk shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as
required by law.
