RESOLUTION NO. 99-108
AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH'S APPLICATION FOR THE
MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION'S COMMUNITY
ROADSIDE LANDSCAPING PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM
WHEREAS, it is a requirement of MnDOT that applicants must adopt a resolution
indicating its willingness to act as a sponsoring unit for a roadside landscaping project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has identified a location at the intersection of State Trunk
Highway 55 and Plymouth Boulevard as a candidate location for this program; and
WHEREAS, it is also a requirement of MnDOT's program that a primary contact person be
designated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: that the City of Plymouth is designated to act as
the sponsoring unit for the project identified as the PLYMOUTH LANDSCAPING
PARTNERSHIP PLAN (S.P. 2723-969A) and located on State Trunk Highway 55 and
Plymouth Boulevard (NW quadrant) and to be conducted during the period of April, 1999
through June, 1999.
FURTHER, that Shane Missaghi is to act as the primary contact person for the City of
Plymouth and is authorized to apply to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for
funding of this project on behalf of the City of Plymouth.
Adopted by the City Council on March 2, 1999.
