RESOLUTION NO. 99-107
APPROVAL TO PURCHASE SEVEN PICKUP TRUCKS, TWO UTILITY VEHICLES,
AND TWO SEDANS
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved in the 1999 Budget the purchase of seven pickup
trucks, two utility vehicles and two sedans; and
WHEREAS, the City may purchase off State and County Contracts; and
WHEREAS, there are State and County Contracts on these vehicles; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, to purchase the following vehicles with pricing
not to exceed the listed amount excluding sales tax.
McKay's Family Dodge: County bid # 4641C8232
One 4X2 '/2 ton pick up (Sewer and Water)
One 4X4 '/2 ton pick up ( Street Supervisor)
Two 4X4 one ton pick ups (Park Maint)
Total not to exceed $ 69,500
Superior Ford: County bid # 4641138-232
Two 4x2 '/2 ton extended cab pick ups (Public Safety)
Total not to exceed $36,600
Falls Automotive Inc.: County bid #4641E8-232
One 4x23/4 ton pick up (Sewer and Water)
Total not to exceed $16,500
Unruh Motor Co.: State bid contract #421650
Two Utility vehicles (Building Division)
Total not to exceed $36,900
Eggebrecht Chevrolet: State bid contract #421648
Two mid size sedans (Public Safety)
Total not to exceed $29,990
FURTHER, that funding will be from 602-1760-8004
