RESOLUTION NO. 99-96
DESIGNATING SRF CONSULTING GROUP, INC. AS
CONSULTANTS FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN UPDATE
WHEREAS, in 1996 the Minnesota Legislature adopted amendments to the Metropolitan
Land Planning Act which require all cities in the Metro Area to update their
comprehensive plans; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth is in need of professional services for completing its
plan in order to meet the requirements of the law; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that SRF Consulting Group, Inc. is the firm best
suited in qualifications and experience to provide the planning services needed for the
project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to
enter into all contracts necessary to secure the services of SRF Consulting Group, Inc.
for the Comprehensive Plan update.
FURTHER, BE IT RESOLVED, that the budget for this project shall be established at
$275,000 to be paid from the Comprehensive Plan Reserve Fund (404-5900-7013), and
the Finance Director is hereby authorized to make transfers from other funds in the
following amounts to that account:
1998 General Fund Surplus $40,000
Utility Trunk Fund $20,000
Sewer Fund $20,000
Water Fund $20,000
Park Dedication Fund $10,000
Adopted by the City Council on February 16, 1999.
