RESOLUTION 99-90
RECOMMENDING ONE-YEAR DELAY OF FURTHER TAX FORFEIT ACTION
WITH REGARD TO PARCEL 29-118-22-44-0040
WHEREAS, Hennepin County has notified the City that Parcel 29-118-22-44-0040 has become
tax forfeit as a result of nonpayment of property taxes and/or special assessments; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City Council's Tax Forfeit Land policy, each parcel has been
reviewed; and
WHEREAS, there are unique circumstances relating to this parcel including nuisance
characteristics on the parcel and ownership confusion; and
WHEREAS, the County has indicated that it will work with the current occupant regarding his
possible redemption of the property and will assist in making repairs and cleaning up the
property over the next year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of returning tax forfeit parcels to private ownership
whenever possible.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Plymouth that it
hereby recommends to Hennepin County with regard to Parcel 29-118-22-44-0040 that the
County delay for one-year any further action with regard to the tax forfeit status of 1515 Weston
Lane.
