RESOLUTION NO. 99-86
REQUEST FOR PAYMENT NO. 6 AND FINAL
VICKSBURG LANE, 35TH AND 36TH AVENUE
TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL SYSTEM
CITY PROJECT NO. 7023
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Water Street Electric, Inc., as contractor,
have entered into an agreement for Vicksburg Lane, 35th and 36th Avenue Traffic Control
Signal System, City Project No. 7023, said agreement being dated April 6, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Engineer has certified his acceptance of the work and his approval of the
final request for payment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original contract amount was $119,219.20. One change order
was approved in the amount of $20,094 and the value of the work to date
is $137,557.49 and is herewith approved. This project underran the
contract amount by $1,755.71 or 1.3%.
2. That the work performed by the contractor for Vicksburg Lane, 35th and
36th Avenue Traffic Control Signal System and certified to the Council by
the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is hereby released from the
contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all
legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty
work after final payment.
3. Request for Payment No. 6 and Final in the amount of $10,388.86 to
Water Street Electric, Inc. for Vicksburg Lane, 35th and 36th Avenue
Traffic Control Signal System is hereby approved and the City Finance
Director is hereby authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
